- I am asking for some help. My brand new Speyco River Spey reel arrived in the mail. It came in a cardboard box, no instructions. It has the wrong retrieve and the wrong drag. If I keep it, I will need to change it to LHW, and I have no idea how to do this. It is a crank-wind reel with a snake handle. And no response from Green Bay, so don’t go there.
