Since 1973, Aging Resources has been the Area Agency on Aging (AAA) that has served Boone, Dallas, Jasper, Madison, Marion, Polk, Story and Warren Counties. Nationally, AAAs were established by the Older Americans Act (OAA) which provided funding to support home-based services for people 60 years of age or older.
